Volunteering at the school is a great way to be involved in your child’s world.  Your involvement at the school creates relationships with the adults and children who know your child and lets you become more intimate with the programs and values the school fosters.  The following is a list of areas where we like to encourage parents to participate.  Many activities can be tailored to suit your schedule and time capabilities.   If you have talents or interests other than the activities listed, please contact Rob Wagner in the office to discuss the possibilities.

  • Gardening

  • Books - preparing new books/repairing damaged books

  • Materials - cutting paper/making copies/organizing

  • Monday lunch - pick-up/clean-up

  • Website, database, or other computer talents

  • Adopting areas of the school - planting flowers, maintenance, etc.

  • Listening to a child read in a primary class (because children this age are distracted by their parents, it is only possible to sit in the class your child is not in)
